Do you need a professional editing service?
I don't know any author, myself included, who doesn't need a good editor and proofreader. Credibility is mandatory. You know that from your experiences as a customer. Mistakes make you look less than professional and are downright embarrassing. Lack of clarity is even worse. Hiring an editor will always be cheaper than reprinting your documents, having your prospect point out your mistakes, or losing bids without ever knowing why. Proofreading is an investment, not an expense. Some editors will promise you two or three edits. I call them slackers. I'll reread your manuscript as many times as it takes. I proofread your document on my computer, take some time away to clear my head, print it to see what I missed, put it aside again, repeat as needed until I don't find a single mistake. Then it's ready for you. Not before then. I want your document to be perfect and I presume you do too. If you've got a tight deadline, let me know what it is and I'll meet it. My price is 3 cents (US) per word, my usual turnaround time is 48 hours, and I work on weekends and holidays. According to George Orwell, great writing is like a window pane. That's right. And I'm your Windex. I invite you to send your manuscript to me at michaeledits@michaeledits.com. I'll quote you a price and a delivery time. I accept PayPal, credit cards, wire transfers, Western Union, and even checks in the mail. Pay me after we're done. I have 22 professional recommendations (not endorsements) from Linked In. MichaelEdits.com is a popup-free, secure site that respects your privacy. All communications are confidential, especially the ones I can't remember. Editing and Proofreading Resources
